The Dade Heritage Trust awarded 910 Lincoln Road/AllSaints Spitalfields with Outstanding Achievement in the Restoration of a Historic Resource. Designed by Walter C. De Garmo in 1929, the Mediterranean Revival structure’s monumental front façade and nave-like interior space infuses commercial space with a reverential quality. The building’s restoration and transformation back to (original) retail use by S+A was motivated by a desire to preserve this dual quality while adapting the space to a new AllSaints Spitalfields store.
