The recently completed S+A renovation of the historic Fairwind Hotel received the preservation award in the 'Stabilization, Renovation, and Restoration' category. Alongside it, the Billboard Building completed in 2017, was awarded in the 'Adaptive Use' category. Both S+A projects are noted for the revitalization and use of historic buildings as a conceptual foundation for designs that both preserve the historic and integrate new solutions.
